Thanks to the person who drove into this building-damaging it, we would have never seen what was underneath. There was an interesting discussion on Vibrant Victoria about what the business was and where the sign could have been located. After much time and deliberation, I figured out it say “The Quadra Boot and Shoe Repair Depot.” Although, we still don’t know the proprietor. The building has seen many changes over the years, but most fondly remember it as a grocery store and barber shop.
